- Aanchal Saklani of class 12th scored 95% marks in english and Khushi Chauhan scored 99% marks in computer science.
- In an event held in New Delhi on 22.2.2017, the International Institute of Education and Management has honored the Principal of the school, Smt. Pushpa Uniyal, to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Excellence Award in the field of Education.
- Prasansa Panwar and Avi Negi secured first and third position in inter school english debate competition.
- Prakash Dhiman of class 5th secured fifth position in state level roller skating and second position in district level. He also stood first in ring race and road race in competitions of Gurukul World, summer camp and mussourie winter line carnival.
- Five students secured gold, silver and bronze medal in International Maths Olympiad.
- Six students secured gold, silver and bronze medal in International Science Olympiad.
- In a event held in Ranipokhri titled ‘KHEL MAHAKUBH’ students of DBIS secured second position in kabaddi.
- Divyansh Khatri secured first position in block level shot put sport held in Chidarwala
